Two held over aggravated burglary at elderly woman’s home

Two men have been arrested in connection with an aggravated burglary at the home of an elderly woman in Bray, Co Wicklow.

The incident occurred at 5am on September 10th last, when the woman interrupted two burglars in her house.

The woman sustained injuries during the incident and was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in Co Dublin for treatment.

The two men, aged 21 and 23, are being detained at Bray Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
