Two men have died following separate incidents in Co Clare over the last two days.
A man in his 50s died on Friday evening after the bucket of a dumper truck he had been working on collapsed on top of him near Fanore in the north of the county.
Emergency services from Ennis and Ennistymon attended the incident but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has since been taken to University Hospital Limerick for a post-mortem, which was due to take place on Saturday.
It follows the death of a 54 year-old man who was killed when working with machinery at a premises in Shragh, west Clare on Thursday evening.
Inspectors from the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) visited the site on Friday, and both cases are currently under investigation by An Garda Síochána.
