A woman arrested in connection with the killing of a mother-of-one has been released without charge.
The woman, aged in her 20s, was arrested following the discovery of the body of Brigid Bernadette Cash on Thursday.
The victim’s body was found with suspected head injuries in the sitting room of her mother’s home in a housing estate in Mulhuddart, west Dublin, after a party.
Ms Cash (20), was a married member of the Travelling community and had a two-year-old son.
Detectives investigating her death have appealed for anyone who was at a party in the property on Warrenstown Walk to come forward.
Paramedics had made the discovery at the address on Thursday morning.
The victim’s mother, also Brigid, is a tenant in the rented semi-detached house but was not home at the time. The victim’s grandmother was caring for her son.
Gardaí investigating the death had detained the suspect at Blanchardstown Garda station under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
She was released from the station earlier this morning.
