A new charge was brought yesterday against a hurling supporter who streaked during last July's Leinster final at Croke Park.
Kevin Caulfield (24), Pondfield, New Ross, Co Wexford, was originally charged with indecency and breach of the peace after he was arrested during the Kilkenny/Wexford match on July 6th last.
Yesterday, a chief prosecution solicitor told Dublin District Court those two charges were being withdrawn and a new charge of offending modesty and causing scandal by parading naked was being preferred.
Sgt Declan Yeates told the court that, after the new charge was read out to him yesterday, Caulfield had nothing to say.
His solicitor asked for a four-week adjournment and he was remanded on continuing bail to appear again on October 30th.
