Irish Ferries cancelled its two fast-ferry sailings from Dublin to Holyhead on Saturday and its three fast-ferry sailings yesterday. However, the cruise ferries still sailed on Saturday and last night's 9.45 p.m. sailing was due to go ahead as planned. The company expects to run its 9.45 a.m. cruise sailing as normal this morning but the 6.15 a.m. fast-ferry sailing had not been confirmed last night. Stena Line also cancelled some fast-ferry sailings to Holyhead but the cruise ferries sailed. It expected to run its fast-ferry sailings to Holyhead and Fishguard today but advised passengers to ring its information line on 01-2047777.

Swansea-Cork Ferries cancelled its 9 p.m. sailing from Cork on Saturday but expected tonight's 9 p.m. sailing to go ahead, weather permitting. For information call 021-4271166.
