A new newspaper will be available on news stands in Ireland and Northern Ireland for the first time today.
Belfast-based Daily Irelandwill have a circulation of 20,000 copies across the nine counties of Ulster and neighbouring areas.
The tabloid paper, part of the Andersonstown News Group, will focus on news from Northern Ireland and the Republic and also cover international events.
Mr Mairtin O'Muilleoir, Andersonstown News Group managing director, said the paper would stand out because it is going to "be politically greener than other papers," he said.
"It will be anti-violence and pro peace process, but quite firmly for equality for nationalists and very strong for nationalism and a nationalist agenda - that's what is going to set us apart."
In a mission statement ahead of publication Daily Irelandvowed "to provide a dynamic, top quality, national daily newspaper which supports Irish unity and promotes a lasting peace while building up a vibrant community across the island".
Management at the paper said they would continue to press for public funding as they are based in a designated area of need in west Belfast.
