Dancing on the ceiling

David Bolger is just back from Los Angeles, where his choreography for Martin Guerre was once again acclaimed. Next Tuesday his latest piece for CoisCeim Dance Theatre When Once Is Never Enough premieres at the Samuel Beckett Theatre at TCD. Dealing with compulsive behaviour and the way chance and timing determines destinies, the piece features live music by Ellen Cranitch with lighting by Lucy Carter. Dancers Benjamin Dunks from Australia and Peter Sears from New Zealand create a minefield of on-stage chaos which drives dancers Robert Jackson and Simone Litchfield literally up the walls.
