London - Clive Jenkins, who was general secretary of the British-based white-collar union, the Association of Scientific, Technical and Managerial Staffs - later to become the MSF - for some 20 years, died yesterday after a short illness, an MSF official confirmed. He was 73.
Mr Jenkins was a dynamic, irrepressible left-wing trade union leader, who used to list among his recreations in Who's Who "organising the middle classes".
