Coventry City have completed the capture of Bohemians midfielder Gary Deegan. The 22-year-old agreed a deal with the Sky Blues on December 21st, but could not be officially unveiled at the Ricoh Arena until January 4th.
The midfielder has penned a three-and-a-half-year contract.
The Dubliner, who helped Bohs retain their League of Ireland Premier Division title last season, could make his debut in Saturday's Championship clash against Barnsley.
Deegan moved to Bohs from Galway United and scored five goals in 34 appearances for the Gypsies.
He played in the Uefa Champions League qualifiers against Austrian outfit Red Bull Salzburg but lost 2-1 on aggregate.
He named on the PFAI Team of the Year for the 2008/09 and was reported to be attracting interest from a number of clubs across England in the autumn, including a few from the Premier League.
