Andy Murray let his frustrations get the better of him as he was forced to wait to book a third-round berth by determined Frenchman Julien Benneteau on Centre Court at Wimbeldon last night.
Murray was caught letting rip with an expletive midway through the second set of his match which stood two sets to one in his favour when play was suspended for failing light.
Murray went on to take the set but had to settle for a 7-6 6-4 4-6 advantage when play ceased. It is not the first time Murray has let his emotions get the better of him on court.
He was handed a code violation for foul language during his Queen's Club loss to Janko Tipsarevic earlier this month.
And in April the British Davis Cup team were fined £1,434 following Murray's foul-mouthed outburst at the umpire - ironically against Tipsarevic's Serbian team-mates.
Murray had every reason to rage having blown a golden opportunity to finish off the French world number 55 and head for a day of rest before a glamorous third-round clash with Andy Roddick.
Instead he will have to return to Centre Court today having lost the last four games in succession in fading light which had also prompted an earlier complaint.
Benneteau, who surprisingly reached the quarter-finals of his home French Open last month, soon made Murray realise he was in for a tougher task than his first-round breeze against Nicolas Massu.
