Racing:Godolphin have warned that Delegator, the ante-post favourite for the Golden Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot on Saturday, will only run if the ground is suitable.

Having his first run over six furlongs at York's May meeting, the horse who chased home Sea The Stars in the 2,000 Guineas back in 2009 ran out an easy winner.

With Frankie Dettori suspended, Mickael Barzalona has been booked for the ride but with rain hitting Ascot today, Saeed bin Suroor has issued the proviso that he will only run on ground that suits.

Delegator is one of 17 declared for the six-furlong Group One, with Roger Charlton supplying three.
