Mr Justice Shanley in the High Court has overturned a decision by the Southern Health Board to demote an official to the lowest clerical grade.
Mr Neil Devery (57), of Elm Vale, Wilton, Cork, claimed that the SHB purported to remove him from his present position after he responded to an invitation by management to criticise the board's structure and management.
