Mr John Dennehy has been declared the winner of the fifth seat in Cork South Central. Mr Dennehy was declared the winner by just two votes in the 11th count.
However, following the narrow margin of victory, Independent candidate Ms Kathy Sinnott has requested a full recount which will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow.
In the latest count, Mr Dennehy recieved 8,791 votes while Ms Sinnott recieved 8,789.
Ms Sinnott was declared the winner yesterday by just three votes, ousting sitting Fianna Fail TD Mr Dennehy for the fifth seat. The margin of victory led to a recount with both parties gaining and losing votes during the process.
