Derry City maintained their impressive run with a deserved victory over struggling Waterfird United at the RSC.
It was the title chasers fifth league victory on the trot and they close to within four points of leaders Cork City who play St Patrick's Athletic on Sunday.
Derry opened the scoring on 18 minutes when Killian Brennan beat Packie Holden after collecting Peter Hutton's long ball.
Waterford gave new manager Brendan Rea and their supporters a glimmer of hope 14 minutes later when Paul Crowley chipped goalkeeper David Forde.
Derry, though, hit back in ruthless fashion and Mark Farren restored their lead two minutes before the interval. Farren secured full points with his second of the night eight minutes after the restart.
UCD battled hard to deny Bohemians full points in a game played in driving rain at Dalymount Park.
The home side took the lead after 21 minutes when midfielder John Paul Kelly thumped a low shot past goalkeeper Darren Quigley from 25 yards.
The visitors levelled six minutes later, however. Referee Damien Hancock awarded a penalty when captain Tony McDonnell was bundled over by Stephen Rice. Robbie Martin made no mistake from the spot.
Limerick beat Monaghan United 2-1 in the only First Division game of the night.
