Tyrone's Gavin Devlin is in danger of missing the start of the Ulster football championship after appearing to stamp on Laois forward Colm Parkinson during Sunday's NFL final.

The centre back is expected to be called before the Games Administration Committee (GAC) and if he is found guilty of a stamping offence, Devlin could face a 12-week ban.

Television replays appear to show Devlin stamping on the back Parkinson in the first half of the league decider. The referee, Michael Collins, missed the incident at the time but yellow carded the Tyrone man after an umpire brought it to his attention.

The GAC, who are not due to meet until May 14th, have used video evidence in the past and a stamping offence normally carries a three-month ban.
