Iarnród Éireann has warned customers of some disruption to weekend rail services due to "operational problems associated with driver issues".
The services affected include today's the Athlone, Galway and Wesport services.
Today's 5.10pm Heuston to Athlone has been cancelled however, customers will be accommodated on the 5.45pm Heuston to Westoprt and 5.50pm Heuston to Galway services.
Tomorrow's 1.30pm Westport to Dublin has been deferred to 2.25pm and the 1.20pm Ballina to Manulla Junction will also be deferred to 2.15pm as a result.
The 1.45pm Heuston to Galway will be facilitated via bus transfers as will the 6.15pm return.
Services for Cork and Kerry will also be affected and passengers are advised to contact the Iarnród Éireann before beginning their journey.
