Saturday, 11pm:Journalists from the main news organisations get a call from Government press secretary Mandy Johnston to be on standby to be at Áras an Uachtaráin at two hours' notice.
Sunday, 6am:Journalists get a text message or a phone call from Ms Johnston advising to meet her at the Áras between 7am and 7.30am.
7.50:Taoiseach arrives at the Áras.
8.10:Mr Ahern leaves without taking questions.
11.15:Enda Kenny arrives at Fine Gael election headquarters at Leeson Street Bridge for photocall. Takes questions from journalists at noon.
12.30pm:Taosieach makes statement in Fianna Fáil election headquarters at Treasury Buildings and does not take questions.
1.30:Green Party leader Trevor Sargent launches hospitals and funding policy at the Morgan Hotel.
2.30:Labour leader Pat Rabbitte hosts a press conference at its Lower Baggot Street election base.
