LOS ANGELES - Neurosurgeons operated on actress Elizabeth Taylor (65) for four hours, yesterday to remove a benign brain tumour, a hospital spokesman said.
Dr Ron Wise, of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre, said the surgery "went as planned" and the actress was recovering.
