SNOOKER:Ken Doherty and Michael Judge were both sent crashing out of the China Open in the final round of qualifying at Prestatyn today.
Former world champion Doherty was thrashed 5-0 by 19-year-old Englishman Judd Trump, while Judge was edged out 5-4 by Shanghai Masters champion Ricky Walden.
Steve Davis was another big name to bite the dust after he was beaten 5-2 by Stuart Pettman.
England’s Stephen Lee also advanced, denying Jin Long a chance to perform in front of his home crowd in March, while Welshman Matthew Stevens’ tough times continued as he slumped 5-4 to Rod Lawler.
