Donegal 1-14 Armagh 2-9: Donegal booked their place in the Dr McKenna Cup final tonight as they survived a second-half revival from Armagh at Healy Park. John Joe Doherty's side will meet the winners of Down and Queens University in the decider.
Donegal led by three points at the interval with Stephen Griffin and David Walsh proving especially potent in attack.
Armagh, though, were never out of the contest and Kevin O'Rourke's finish midway through the second-half left just a point between the sides before Walsh struck to extend Donegal’s advantage.
Armagh poured forward in the closing stages and Paddy McKeever netted a second Armagh goal after Ronan Clarke had a penalty saved by Paul Durcan, but Donegal held firm in the closing stages.
