Donegal full back Paddy Campbell will miss the county's football qualifier with provincial rivals Fermanagh on Sunday week after collecting a four-week suspension from the GAA's Central Disciplinary Committee.
The ban arises from an incident between Campbell and Derry's Enda Muldoon during last month's Ulster semi-final.
The two players struck one another and the Derry player was sent off. Having initially escaped punishment, Campbell was later cited on video evidence and now serves his sentence.
Should Donegal beat Fermanagh, Campbell would also miss the All-Ireland quarter-final against Cork.
In hurling, Sean White of Meath and Westmeath's Barry Kennedy have received 12 week bans for incidents in recent games against Antrim and Galway respectively.
Fermanagh's Darren Graham has been hit with an eight week suspension following the Nicky Rackard Cup game against Donegal.
Westmeath manager Seamus Qualter is banned from the touchline for two months following an incident in his team's qualifier against Laois at the start of the month.
