Tyrone star Brian Dooher and Tipperary's Brendan Cummins were today named the Vodafone GAA All Star Footballer and Hurler of the month for August.
Dooher, preparing for this weekend's All-Ireland final against Armagh, was singled out for his performance in the semi-final win over Kerry.
Goalkeeper Cummins lifts the hurling award following his stirring display between the posts in Tipperary's All-Ireland semi-final defeat to champions Kilkenny.
The president of the GAA Sean Kelly said both men were wonderful role models for the next generation of players.
