The Executive's Programme for Government has little future and little chance of success, both Sinn Fein and anti-agreement unionists have warned.
Mr Robert McCartney of the UK Unionist Party said it was a programme by a government with an uncertain future using the discussion of other issues to mask questions about the future.
Mr Gerry Kelly, the Sinn Fein MLA for North Belfast, said he would have liked to talk about the programme itself but felt unable to do so as the future of the agreement was at stake.
Mr Nigel Dodds of the DUP said the document did not address "the core problem, which is that at the heart of government, corrupting the heart of government, are political parties that hold on to terrorist arms and ammunition".
Prof Monica McWilliams MLA, of the Women's Coalition, noted that the First Minister had said the programme reflected "the maturity of the Assembly and Executive". But she was not so sure.
