I refer to your letter in the above matter of 12th December 2005.
I can confirm that on 7th March 2003 a decision was made by this office, on the basis of a Garda file submitted here, that there was insufficient evidence to prosecute your client in relation to allegations concerning a false Irish passport. I should however state that the decision would be subject to review should further evidence come to light.
