GAA:Four of tonight's six Dr McKenna Cup fixtures have been postponed due to unplayable pitches, including Tyrone's match against the University of Jordanstown (UUJ) at Healy Park.

Less than 48 hours after Tyrone manager Mickey Harte buried his daughter, Michaela, the Red Hands were due to take to the pitch for their first competitive game of the season but the tie was postponed once more due to a frozen pitch.

Harte was not expected to be in attendance at the match and managerial duties had already handed to his assistant Tony Donnelly.

Other games lost to the weather include; Armagh v St Mary’s (Athletic Grounds), Donegal v Fermanagh (MacCumhaill Park) and Monaghan v Cavan (Inniskeen).
