A hearing of the Disputes Resolution Authority (DRA) took place in Dundalk this evening to rule on an appeal by the four counties involved in the All-Ireland hurling championship relegation semi-finals to have Saturday’s games called off.
Antrim are due to face Offaly at Parnell Park at 2.0pm, while Clare and Wexford are scheduled to meet in Portlaoise at 5.0pm.
The two losing team were then due to play each other, with the losers relegated from the All-Ireland series next year. Antrim, though, have argued they had been promised three years of participation in the Leinster championship.
As of 10.45pm, a decision on whether the games would go ahead had not been made.
