Oil exploration group Dragon Oil said today it has started production at an oil well in the Cheleken area off the coast of Turkmenistan.
The hole, known as LAM 10/110, flowed at a rate of 1,603 barrels per day.
"The previously reported technical difficulties were successfully resolved and the well is now on production," the group said in a drilling update.
Dragon Oil said it will shortly begin drilling the next well, LAM 10-111.
