A bus driver was remanded on continuing bail yesterday for sentencing on May 12th after he pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a teenage girl on his bus.
The offence was committed at the Cabra terminus of the Bus Atha Cliath route on the night of August 23rd, 1995.
Christopher Dixon (33), married and a father, of Ashfield Grove, Blanchardstown, entered the guilty plea on the second day of his trial at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.
The court was told Dixon drove past the girl's stop. At the terminus he offered to drive her back. He switched off the lights and the assault took place.
