The trial of a Dundalk man who denies dangerous driving causing death was adjourned without hearing evidence yesterday.

Judge Kieran O'Connor, asked the jury to return to Dublin Circuit Criminal Court this morning to continue the trials He said a legal problem had arisen which necessitated the adjournment. The prosecution case has finished.

The court has been told Mrs Sarah Moran, of New Rath, Drumiskin, Co Louth, died from head injuries after her Peugeot 309 car was struck by a Fiat Uno driven by Mr Hugh McNamee, of Sportmanshall, Dundalk.

Mr McNamee has pleaded not guilty to dangerous driving causing Mrs Moran's death at Greengates outside Dundalk on May 4th 1994. The court was told Mrs Moran's car had come from Drogheda and was stationary while waiting to turn.
