A man who drowned in a river in Wexford may have been involved in a robbery beforehand, it emerged today.
The body of the man was found in the River Slaney in Enniscorthy at 6am.
A Garda spokesman said officers were investigating a possible link between the man's death and an attempted robbery at the nearby Roadstone quarry.
