Mr Liam Russell of Harelawn Avenue, Ballyfermot, Mr Gabriel Kelly of Lough Lane, The Curragh, Mr P.J. Kelly of Ladyswell, Kilkenny, and Mr George Metcalf of Shangan Road, Ballymun, all appeared in Kilmainham District Court charged with conspiracy to launder £50,000 of drug money, and supply of drugs at the Red Cow car-park, Naas Road on June 24th, 1996.
They were each sent forward for trial to the present sittings of the Circuit Criminal Court on their own bails. A fifth accused, Mr Christopher Murphy of Cuffes Grange, Kilkenny, was remanded to January 15th for solicitor Mr Michael Staines to make submissions on the book of evidence.
