Ecstasy tablets worth an estimated £125,000 were recovered by gardai in a raid on a house in Clondalkin last night.

More than 10,000 tablets were found in the residence, in Ronanstown, at around 8.15 p.m. Gardai say the drugs were part of a major supply network in the west Dublin area.

A woman in her 30s was arrested during the operation. She was being held at Ronanstown Garda station under the Drugs Trafficking Act.

The raid was a follow-up operation to the seizure earlier this week of £10,000 worth of cannabis in the car park of a Clondalkin shopping centre.
