Dublin Airport Authority has said passengers increased by 14 per cent last month with more than 1.5 million passengers travelling through the airport.
In a statement, the DAA said passenger traffic to and from continental Europe rose by 34 per cent with over 710,000 passengers travelling in February.
Over the same period there was a small decline in travel to Britain, with passenger numbers to British airports dropping by 2 per cent last month.
For the first two months of the year, the number of passengers travelling through the airport has increased by 328,000 to 2.9 million, a rise of 12 per cent.
