Patient services were affected at St Colmcille's hospital in Loughlinstown, Co Dublin, yesterday as a result of industrial action by clerical and administrative staff. Their union, IMPACT, is taking similar action at the James Connolly Memorial Hospital today and plans to escalate the dispute next week.
The two sides are due to meet at the Labour Relations Commission today.
