There will be traffic restrictions in Dublin today during the annual marathon which is expected to attract 10,000 competitors.
Traffic heading to the city centre will be diverted down Upper Gardiner Street from Dorset Street, while motorists using the N2 towards the city centre are advised to travel via the M50 due to traffic restrictions in Phibsoro.
Traffic on the N3 will be diverted away from the North Circular Road.
The N4 remains open all day, but motorists travelling to the city centre will experience delays from 9-9.45am at Grattan Bridge as the runners cross the River Liffey. Motorists on the N7 are advised are advised to use the M50 and the N4 to gain access to the city centre as there will be severe traffic restrictions in the Inchicore-Dolphins Barn area.
The N11 will be unaffected, except for slip roads on to the Belfield flyover as the runners go from Foster's Avenue to Nutley Lane.
A traffic box will be in operation at Drimnagh, Chapelizod and Templeogue Road. Motorists coming from the north or west of the city, and travelling to the RDS, are advised to use the East Link bridge and Strand Road or the M50 and N11.
