Dublin have beaten All-Ireland champions Kilkenny by 2-11 to 2-10 to win the Walsh Cup in a dramatic final at Parnell Park this afternoon.
A last second Johnny McGuirk point was just enough for the Dubs after Kilkenny scored a goal in the 36th minute to restore parity.
Dublin later completed a successful day in GAA with a 1-10 to 0-9 win over Donegal in a scrappy and often unsightly match at Fr Tierney Park.
Meanwhile Tyrone did enough in the first half half to set up a convincing 1-13 to 0-11 win over Galway in Pomeroy as Dublin comfortably brushed aside Roscommon in Tralee.
In Division 1B Cavan recorded their second win of the league with an impressive 1-16 to 0-7 win over Meath.
