Final preparations are being put in place for Dublin's official ceremony to mark the beginning of the Chinese New Year. The event for the city's 100,000 Chinese people of will be marked with dance, music and song.
This is the Chinese Year of the Pig, with people born in the year of the pig considered loyal and intelligent.
The city's Chinese New Year Festival takes place tomorrow afternoon in Smithfield Plaza, where dance group Flower City will perform Liondance, the festival's central event, at 1pm.
The dance's origins go back to ancient China and is performed to bring good luck in the new year.
Smithfield will also host Chinese music & singing and demonstrations of Chinese arts throughout the afternoon. Liondance will also be performed at venues around the city centre.
