CS Grevenmacher 3 Dundalk 3:Dundalk threw away a two-goal lead against CS Grevenmacher but may in fact be relieved to leave Luxembourg with a draw after late own from the home side in the first leg their Europa League qualifying round tie.

Dundalk looked comfortable with an hour gone after a 26th minute strike from Fahrudin Kudozovic and 51st minute header from Wayne Hatswell.

However, after the hosts pegged them back in just after the hour when Tim Heinz headed past Matt Gregg in the Dundalk goal.

Ten minutes later Grevenmacher restored parity through Gabriel Gaspar and a long range Almeida Da Silva effort three minutes after that gave them the lead.

Dundalk had it all to do again but their persistence paid off when Khalid Benichou headed past his own goalkeeper to give Dundalk three away goals ahead of the return leg.
