Brazil coach Dunga has made it clear he will not be continuing in the job after his side lost 2-1 to Netherlands in their World Cup quarter-final.

Brazil were beaten by two goals in the second half having led 1-0 at the break thanks to a Robinho goal.

Asked about his future afterwards, Dunga told reporters: "We knew when I started that I would be here for four years."

"It's sad, it's difficult, nobody prepares to lose."

Dunga replaced Carlos Alberto Parreira in July 2006, immediately after the last World Cup.

His side looked in total control at half-time but capitulated in the second half after Felipe Melo headed into his own net.

Wesley Sneijder then headed the Dutch into the lead before Melo was sent off for stamping on winger Arjen Robben.
