Dutch police seized 4.6 tonnes of cocaine with a street value of €220 million last month, it was announced today.
Police in the port of Rotterdam detained 13 suspects from Colombia, The Netherlands, Venezuela, Mexico, Greece and the United States in connection with the drug seizure on August 3rd.
Another suspect died after falling off a residential block in Amsterdam as he ran away from police, the Dutch ANP news agency said.
