Tickets for Bob Dylan November 26th show at Dublin's Point Theatre sold out in 90 minutes today.
Dylan has played in Ireland a number of times over the last few years, performing at three different venues in 2003, but this doesn't seem to have dampened the enthusiasm of fans for popular classics such as "Blowin' in the Wind" and "Forever Young".
Only artists such as the Rolling Stones, David Bowie and U2 have sold out Irish concerts in comparable times, with last month's U2 concerts in Croke Park selling out in less than an hour.
There is speculation, however, that a second Dylan date will be announced shortly, with the artist's website listing gigs at the Point Theatre for both 26th and the 27th of November.
