Anchorage - A strong earthquake of 6.7 magnitude rattled coastal Alaska yesterday, authorities said, but no significant damage or tidal wave threat was reported.
The quake struck at 7:03 a.m. local time (4.03 p.m. Irish time), centred 65 miles south-west of Kodiak Island, and was felt across the region, according to the National Earthquake Information Centre in Golden, Colorado.
