Dublin's East Link Bridge will be toll free in both directions from 5.30pm until 7.30pm tonight, while the Port Tunnel northbound will also be toll free up to 9pm amid traffic disruption this evening caused by the royal visit.
A number of traffic restrictions are in place along the Dublin quays as the Queen is attending an indoor garden party at the Convention Centre in Dublin's Docklands, hosted by the British embassy.
Tonight's event, organised with the assistance of developer Harry Crosbie, will be attended by President Mary McAleese and her husband, Martin, with some 2,000 invited guests from across Ireland involved in the business, sporting, entertainment, politics and charity sectors.
It will feature entertainment from acts including Westlife, The Chieftains, the National Symphony Orchestra, X Factor star Mary Byrne and former Eurovision winner Eimear Quinn. There will also be a performance by Riverdance, readings from Irish literature and a fashion show with designs by John Rocha and Louise Kennedy.
