The Faculty of Applied Arts in The Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) has organised a public lecture series on arts practise, research and the academy. The series aims to look at the state of research in the visual arts, theatre, music, photography and digital media and speakers will include arts educators and arts practitioners, homegrown and from abroad. The second of six lectures will be given on Monday, January 29th by Philip Zarrilli, who has the chair of drama and theatre studies at the University of Exeter. He'll speak about "Performance Epistemologies: Knowledges About, For, and In". The lectures, which are open to all, will be held in the DIT's faculty of applied arts, Rathmines Road, Dublin 6.
