Be a voter

It's not too late to register for voting if you are 18 years old or more

It's not too late to register for voting if you are 18 years old or more. "If your name is not on the 1999/ 2000 register, you still have time to fill in the forms at your local county council and corporation offices," says Evelyn Cawley, a candidate in the town commission elections in the Greystones area of Co Wicklow.

To be included in the supplement of the register, says Cawley, you must be at least 18 years of age, be ordinarily resident at the address at which you wish to be registered and not be already registered as an elector at any other address. Applications must be with local councils and corporations by Monday, May 24th.
