All you could ever want to know about the Leaving Cert Applied is now covered in video and CD-ROM, along with a magazine called Opportunities Update, and the information leaflet.

The set has been produced jointly by the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) and the Department of Education and Science. It is hoped it will help to increase awareness of the programme among parents, students and employers.

Launching the video, Minister Michael Woods said it conveyed the "tremendous self-confidence that young people involved in the programme develop".
