A weekend course on silk painting with Annemarie Hill (cost £150) takes place on July 15th and 16th. This is suited to beginners as well as those with experience. Class numbers are limited. If you haven't tried this art form before all you need in terms of materials will be available to buy on the day. Flower painting with botanical artist and designer Daphne Shackleton (cost £95) is scheduled for July 22 and 23rd. This workshop will cover the observation and drawing of plants as well as colour mixing and painting techniques. Course costs include lunch and refreshments.
