Most inspirational teacher and why? My maths and geography teacher, Mr Powell. He was an all round nice guy

Are teachers today doing a good job? Super. They're so busy babysitting and trying not to get sued it's a wonder they can teach at all. They get no thanks.

What's the best thing about the Irish educational system? It's broad

The worst thing? It's not as free as it pretends to be

Should schools be forced to publish their Leaving Cert results? No, it would lead to elitism

Should Irish be dropped as a compulsory subject at Leaving Cert? Yes. Let's all be Europeans now.
