A competition for Transition Year students has just been launched by the Schools Information Centre on the Irish Chemical Industry (SICICI). Teachers are invited to enter students for the competition to design a chemistry magazine for schools. The magazine should run to between eight and 12 A4 pages and should include colour. The cover should feature the Irish Chemical Industry logo. The judges will be looking for attractive presentation, variety of content, interesting material and accurate chemistry. It can include interesting news items, cartoons, short stories, quizzes, profiles and so on.
