Do you think there is too much sport on TV?

THERE'S a lot of sport on telly. There's a lot of soccer, which I love. I wouldn't necessarily want there to be any more sport, but I could watch as many Liverpool games as they put on. All the same, I prefer playing football to watching it.

THERE'S a lot of sport on Saturday and Sunday but it's more cartoons during the week. Boys love sport on TV, and I love it as well. I loved watching gymnastics during the Olympics. I'd like to win a gold medal for Ireland in gymnastics.

I LOVE watching showjumping and I love riding myself. But there isn't enough showjumping on TV. All the other sports - apart from basketball - I have had enough of. They should put on more episodes of Sabrina instead of sport.

IT'S GOOD to have lots of sport on telly - it encourages people to become involved in sports. I love watching swimming, diving and synchronised swimming. I swim myself. I would like to see more tennis and basketball.

THERE'S far too much sport on TV and it is all really boring. Football is just kicking a bit of leather about and there is no point to it at all. I like playing basketball and there is none on, except for a tiny bit on TnaG. I wish they'd show sport I like.

I LIKE sport, especially basketball and swimming. I don't watch much TV - I'd rather be out helping my dad with the farm animals or actually playing a sport. There probably is too much on TV though - that's what you hear people say.

THE football on telly is good - there should be more of it. My team is Man United and I love watching matches. I'd love to see them play for real some time. When there's hurling on I can't stand that, but I do love the Formula One.
